Welcome to groupsurvival.com.  This is the place to start of find survival groups.  The purpose is to meet-up and organize and practice all things survival.  This may include (but is not limited to) fire by friction, shelters, wild edibles, tracking, trapping, flint napping, permaculture, canning, martial arts, and anything else you can think of pertaining to survival.

If you also want to start a group to find folks for the purpose of purchasing some farm land, go for it!  There are a couple of good sites for finding land.  I recommend http://www.landwatch.com/ and http://www.landandfarm.com/ .  The groups you make can be public, or you can keep your group private so it won't be seen by others on the web.

You can also start a blog and share your experiences with others if you wish.  Now get together and start practicing your stuff!

If you have ever taken a survival class, you know that it is difficult to keep practicing on your own once you get back home. Its easy to fall into the same old ruts. Not anymore! We just made it easy to find like minded people to help you keep active on your survival skills. I truly believe that survival groups will be an important part of our future.
